Everyone knew that kids recruitment would escalate into offering his bro a job. Should have sent 5 butt naked future miss Americas with a suitcase full of money and a job contract to his brother and said join the fricking team champ.

So that counts against the 25 (which for us is more like 15-16)?????? That does not bode well for how we think we might close out this class to me. Makes 0 sense.

It has no effect on the number we take this year. It only counts against the 25 but we won't be using all 25 because of the 85 limit. We will sign around 20 that will count against the 85. So we will have 5 left over to carry forward to next year

Just am really confused about this Jordus Smith guy and us taking him. Maybe they know something I don't but can't seem to find any info on the guy anywhere.

Exactly. If we could only give out 18 scholorship every year you'd see this more. There is absolutley nothing to get upset or excited about here.

Well, that makes me feel much better. But you are right, nothing to get excited about either.

I've never been so unexcited at the possibility of Ole Miss landing a highly rated CB. We usually recruit CB so poorly that I get rock hard over average CBs. But we have recruited some good CBs and converted some guys into CBs and I like our depth there. Never thought I would say that as an Ole Miss fan.

If he commits I would feel kind of like I did last year with Judd's commitment... he's a really good player but he is more than likely not going to be a significant upgrade and just going to provide really good depth. Am I off here?

Yes... He is really really good and will definitely play a lot of snaps at CB for us... Senquez is graduating ... Bridges can slide right in and provide good depth immediately... I'm not ready to jump on this Tee Shepherd bandwagon that everyone is on quite yet.
