I would just like to say that what I was saying on the previous page is that when it comes to in state kids the egg bowl doesn't sway many if any in the current recruiting cycle. As in, the 2013 egg bowl didn't have much impact on the 2014 class of in state kids. It will and is having an impact on the 2015 class of mississippi kids though and I agree with whoever said we missed our opportunity to put some of these recruiting battles to bed for a year or two when we lost this past year.

Forget the fricking egg bowl... It's because that particular game put you in a bowl an on a 3 game winning streak. Lose that game, egg bowl or not, and you aren't recruiting like you are.

We get it but we did win 3 games straight. I don't get why you keep bringing this hypothetical situation up.

That one play at Arkansas completely changed the outlook of the season. The State boards were all doom and gloom before that swing started.

Well no shite. Wouldn't you be skeptical going into that game if Ole Miss was 4-6? And wouldn't you been excited as hell had they won 3 straight? It works both ways.

Well, Christian Morris cleared to practice by docs, still awaiting word on his waiver. Also, Tyler Putman is going through drills with everyone else and is up to 6'5 305. Good news.

I feel like Lewis really wants to publicly commit to Ole Miss tonight... Could just be that rare tuna I ate though... He didnt get all caught up in da big dawg camp excitement which pushed your class all the way up to a 3.12 star avg on Rivals... It's like Leo's his own person... I guess we'll just see what happens.

I want Leo Lewis to be in this OM class... I want him to come play football in Oxford more than I wanted CJ Hampton to... More than I wanted freakin CJ Johnson to... I'd say he's 2nd only to Tony Conner as far as instate guys I wanted to wear red and blue over the last couple years... The only recruiting feather Freeze's hat is missing in an elite LBer.. Not to say Haynes and Gates arent gonna be great players for us... They are legit SEC backers... But Lewis is Reuben Foster good... And he is a humble guy with a great head on his shoulders.. Something Foster definitely wasnt.

Saw a vid of him working out in a LT stance. Still seems to be favoring it some but looks good.

If we dont get him we dont get him... It would suck... But he is a generational type LB.. At least as far as the state of MS is concerned... They have a incredible LBs come out of the State of AL every damn year.

2010: Mosley
2011: DePriest
2012: Ragland
2013: Foster
2014: Evans

This list doesnt even include any guys that went to Auburn.. Only Bama players... I really think he'll be as good as Mosley some day.

Someone summarize the weekend's recruiting news for me since I've been drunk and now I'm receiving ads on this website in Spanish.
