I'm not a guy. Were you ever UCA staff? That was so much fun.

ETA: a couple more highlights

Getting to perform in the London Millenium New Years Day parade.

Getting to be on the sidelines for the state championship FB game in HS.

A pic of some of us from the MUS game from earlier that season.

Worst: Being first after prelims at Nationals my senior year in HS, and ending up 6th in the finals because another stunt group dropped a stunt.

I played football in 7th, but tore a few hand muscles after going after a Hail Mary (I played in third down and gosling sets because of my height). Never really caught a deep ball the same again

Ok I am going to list events I was part of (not participating on floor/field/court)

Football: Beating UNI in the UNIDome for first time in 19 years and 2nd time beating them ever in 25 years. Or part of first NCAA Playoff win in school history vs Maine. Being part of the first official Overtime game in NCAA history vs oSu (we won but got screwed over as the Big XII wasnt going to let a FCS team beat them. The back judge to this day knew he blew the call and told me so few years later.

Basketball: Beating Tennessee by 40 to advance to the sweet 16.

Baseball: Sweeping Nebraska at Nebraska in Supers to go to CWS. Or having RF hit go ahead HR to put Arkansas in Losers bracket at Arkansas got to play for Regional Final for 4th time in 5 years.

Soccer Track CC etc I did not travel with so really did not have big moments.

Moments I've been apart of

Basketball- gs vs spurs game 1. Best sporting moment I've ever been apart of by far. I actually gradually snuck down from the top of the 100s to the bottom 15 rows as people started leaving.

I reject your big 5

Bring on the gay/Lycra jokes! 52:36 in 40K individual time trial (bicycle) in 1992. A MS/LA record that has stood for 22 years. And yer damn right I remind everybody about it, every year.

See when I say being part of it means I was actually not in stands, like on bench or in dugout/bullpen etc... I was on staff not a paying spectator. I had a reason to be there and contributed something during the prep and during the game.

If you know anything about aTm history go find Billy Pickard. That is type of positiion I held at school I worked for.

Baseball-my first and longest home run when I was 12. It was my only tape measure shot 460+ feet.

Yea…ok. I can say with absolute certainty that this didnt happen. Why do you feel the need to lie on a message board?

I have a lot of memories that stick out to me but I'll go with these:

Worst moments:

1. My high school took our Freshman and varsity teams to a basketball summer camp at Huntingdon college in Montgomery, AL. I was going back and forth playing with our Varsity and Freshmen. I finished up a Varsity game and went to meet our Freshman team which had already started their game. I got there during a timeout and when my teammate threw the ball in to me they were pressing or something and I just remember the defender running at me. Shot a fade-away three, nothing but net. Wrong goal. God I never heard the end of that.

2. State championship football game my senior year. I played WR but I kicked our longer field goals. 42 yarder right before halftime, we were up 8-0. Kick away, looks good, wind pushes, loudest dong off the uprights I have ever heard. We lost 20-8.

Best Moments:

1. Same state championship game, I caught the touchdown that put us up 6-0 at the beginning of the game.

2. 12 Years old, I struck out 14/18 batters in the game as the starting pitcher.

3. Finished, I think, 3rd in the 200 meter hurdles at the State Track meet my senior year.

4. Walked on at State as a WR. Didn't make it through the whole first year, and it was a Croom year but it was still something that's cool to look back on.

5. shite I forgot, National Flag Football finalists at State my Junior year. Won the Southern Miss regional and went to Tampa and played in the National Championship Tournament. Put out in the third round but still pretty cool.

I'm not lying. Have no need to. I never hit one anywhere close to that ever again it's just one of those freak things that happens. It got up into a good wind blowing straight out to left and away it went.

You may not think you are lying but there is no way a 12 year old hit a ball 460 feet in the air unless it was with a 50 MPH wind behind it. Would still be surprising with that wind. Whoever told you it went 460 lied to you. Not your fault for being naive...
