It can't get here soon enough. I would take overcast 45 degree and drizzling everyday of the year.

It's the 95 degree but feels like 102 bullshite that I hate. frick you humidity.

Eh, a flat beach bores me.

Our beaches have nice mountain views.

The only thing I really hate about winter is it getting dark at 4:30 in the afternoon. Dark when you get up dark when you get home. Depressing shite.

Right now I just want Fall. Seriously. Last year it went straight from 90+ to 50 degree highs in about a week.

I think we tied the record this week with most consecutive 90+ days in September. I could do without it as much as I can do without the negative temps in the winter.

Lanier is more than marginally different from a couple hours south. I drove there in March to buy a vehicle. Left Jackson in shorts and a hoodie 85 degrees.. Weather was the same horizontal to ATL.. Got to Gainsville GA and it was cold as shite and drizzling.

Got back to MS later, 85 degrees

When I was younger, I worked as a mussel diver on The Tennessee River, for several years. Always preferred winter to summer, even then. The water is clearer, less people,etc.. You might want to try a Harvey's Dry suit.

shite is brutal. You can drive up I985 and watch the temperature drop, the wind pick up and the fricking clouds roll it.

Lake Lanier has some brutal winter weather to be where it is. I have been on almost every lake in the south east. I believe the mountains funnel that shite right in here.

I believe it and it's no joke. I didn't even look at the car that hard and the wife of the seller asked why I was dressed that way..

This was at 1 p.m. By 3 I was west of Birmingham with the windows down.

Edit: It's weird thinking about another rant poster when you see a sign off the interstate.

Ditto. I'm about four hours south of you and it's pretty toasty here.

I love winter. I love snow. The colder and more snowy, the better IMO. I fricking hate deep south heat and humidity.
