Some of that goes on, but not as much as you think, imo.
Especially in the case of a long-running relationship and/or a marriage, there's usually a lot more to stand on than any trophy notions.
He whole novelty of being with a person of another race wears off pretty quickly
Especially in my and my wife's case. I wasn't the first minority she'd been with, and she wasn't my first white girl to date.

I think some of us are poor judges of attractiveness in our own gender, across racial lines.
I've seen really fugly white dudes with hot black girls or smoking Asian women. Maybe you're discounting how ugly the dudes are or overestimating the attractiveness of the women they're with. I think we do both.
Attractiveness seems to even out in most couplings. At least that's how it seems to me.

Honest to God...if you know SlowFlowPro, he saved my pics from one night of drunken debauchery on the OT Lounge. No Paige type pics, sorry.
