Well the party had been going on for 4 days when Jesus turned the water into wine, so yeah, I guess he did.

You'd be wrong....

Eph 5:18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

Great. That doesn't answer the question though.

Why do you care what others drink or partake in? Typical judgmental church rabbit.

I don't pay to go to church, my body isn't abused but I do have to say that my mind is altered by the gospel.

Why do you need your mind altered by drugs? Do you believe that getting drunk is mature and beneficial to you?

Well, I was waiting for this to be posted....knew it was coming sooner or later.

I'm curious why folks drink to excess and then brag about it. Think it's cute or mature or makes them somehow more of a man...or woman?

Sure nothing about getting drunk though. I'm surprised that you didn't use this one...

I look down on both because I don't need some one else to reaffirm my faith, or do I need a simple beverage to take the edge off a 10-11 work day

Both are outrageously stupid to an extent. Casually, I can understand, as I do both from time to time just for no reason. But both are equally stupid the more extreme you get, as is with everything.

Well considering you have to be 21 to drink, then drinking requires maturity. Appealing? Well I've gotten more women when I'm drunk.

Most do it because it relaxes them, the buzz feeling feels good, and it just loosens you up and relieves stress to let you be yourself.

Now alcoholism is another story, but just getting drunk to have fun is not a big deal.

Are you suggesting that one must 'get a buzz' to be themselves?

Maybe because it tastes good, it's fun, and it relieves stress. There's nothing wrong with it as long as you don't go over board.

Why do you feel the need to look down at people that drink?

If there is a god, he likely thinks you're a huge faggy dork.

You're going to hell. If there is a hell, of course, I don't believe in such a place, but you're going there anyway.
