Andrew Jackson could take 'em all at once.

This. People who don't know much about him really need to read up on just how much of a BA Andrew Jackson was.

He fought in the Revolutionary War at the age of 13, and he and his brother were captured by the British. In captivity, a British officer told him to clean his boots, and Jackson told him to eff off, leading the officer to hit him with his sword and leave a lifelong scar. Both brothers contracted smallpox, and their mother secured their release, but they had to walk back to their home something like 50 miles away -- the brother rode a horse because he was worse, but Jackson had to walk home...50 miles...starving and dehydrated...while suffering from smallpox.

Oh, and then there's this:

Oh, and then there's the time Jackson and Davy Crockett beat the crap out of a guy with his cane who tried to pull a revolver on him when he was President.

Say what you want about him with regard to his policies, most notably those with regard to horrendous treatment of Native Americans, but the guy was a tough SOB. People always point to Roosevelt in terms of tough Presidents, but Teddy Roosevelt wished he had a quarter of the toughness of Andrew Jackson.

I have to believe that Teddy Roosevelt, George H.W. Bush, and Andrew Jackson would be some of the favorites.

Jackson, Washington, Teddy and Bush 1 would be in the semis. JFK would have a ok shot but back problems would cause him to lose a match. Obama would get rolled over by every president

Would definitely come down to Teddy Roosevelt and JFK.

JFK was one of the most sickly presidents we've ever had, but like other things, it was hidden by the press and those close to him. He suffered from horrible back pain, sometimes even having to use a wheelchair, and had health problems dating back to as early as the 30s. He also suffered from Addison's Disease.

He may have been young, but the "vibrant" youth of his presidency is a myth.

I would assume you take the president at their most fit time in life for this fight. Even then I think JFK would be eliminated since he had back problems even when healthy. He probably whips some arse on his way out though.

Yeah, I always forget about that.

Slick Willy could lull them into a peaceful slumber with the soothing sounds of his sax.

Final Four

Jackson
Taylor
Eisenhower
Ford

Most modern elected presidents were more hype than reality. Teddy Roosevelt was an east coast wimpy guy that "remade" his image by dressing in frontier attire. He may have been the first to use the media to to alter his public perception.

Teddy took a bullet to the chest and still gave a 30 min or so speech. Short guy but tough as nails.

Taft would just sit on everyone.

My final four would be Jackson, Grant, Teddy, and Bush the elder.
