Why you guessed it, Texas A&M.

quote:

The Weitz Co. has been chosen as the design-builder for Park West, a $360 million student housing project being developed by Servitas, L.L.C. at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.

When completed, the Park West will be the largest student housing complex in the country, accommodating 3,402 students in more than 1,300 units in approximately 1.8 million square feet of space.

can't tell you how jealous I am that the 18-21 year olds in college station can be slightly better accommodated than the 18-21 year olds in athens. Burns me up man.

Remember when the quality of the education you received was more important than the bells and whistles of your student housing?

Only a couple more weeks

Aggies Dont have a problem with sleeping with each other. I mean they could probably fit the freshman males in 3 or four rooms with 4 to a bed.

Gonna be honest, college dorms are getting too nice. Part of what I loved about college was that sitting in your room would be boring as shite, so you went out and experienced college. I lived in Moore Hall which was built in 1942, and that shite got torn down and replaced with something ridiculously nice. Kids today are too coddled.

I do agree with you. I wish we could strike a balance between the housing projects in north side and something like this that's too nice

The Soviet Union use to house their people in the same manner. Looks good now, but give it a few years.
