Miami is 4th.... 3 million people fewer than #3 Chicago.

That's a huge drop off.

I thought they were too, but Miami and Philadelphia are 4 and 5.

Also incorrect.

Depends on who you talk to. Some will call Texas southern, some Western, some southwestern. Hardly a consensus and I defy you to intimate otherwise.

Houston and Dallas are definitely not part of the huge 3 that everyone knows.

Are these Texans really arguing that Houston or Dallas fit in the Chicago/NYC/LA grouping?

When it comes to "real cities" I'd eliminate LA/Miami and add San Francisco, Philadelphia, Boston, and Seattle.

NYC, Chicago, SF, Philly, Boston, Seattle.

Holy shite. Let me see....from west to east:

Anchorage (not really a major city, bout like Shreveport)
Fairbanks (about like Fort Smith)
San Diego
Los Angeles and everything that touches it.
San Francisco
Oakland
Sacramento
Reno
Las Vegas
Tucson
Phoenix
Salt Lake City
Denver
Colorado Springs
ABQ (bitch!)
Omaha
Kansas City
Oklahoma City
Amarillo
El Paso
Houston
San Antonio
Austin
Dallas
Fort Worth
Tulsa
Shreveport
Des Moines
Milwaukee
Chicago
Detroit
Cleveland
New Orleans
Memphis
St. Louis
Indianapolis
Little Rock
Jackson
Baton Rouge
Nashville
Mobile
Tallahassee
Atlanta
Louisville
Lexington
Miami
Charlotte
Washington DC
Baltimore
Dover, DE
Atlantic City
Philadelphia
Buffalo
NYC

Probably missed a few. NYC, VT, to Wyoming, SF to SD to Miami, FL is my range, plus Alaska.

I'd like to visit Portland, Seattle and Boston, mainly because that's about all of America I haven't seen.

Favorite big cities are San Diego and San Francisco.

The South Bay gets put in the San Jose metro area, but it's all the same thing. They should probably be combined.

Been to a lot.

1. NYC
2. San Francisco
3. Boston

Houston and/or Dallas is not part of the Big 3. Kinda laughable to argue to the contrary.
