I got a buddy stationed there and another trying to get transfered there so I should have some decent guides.

Major cities?
There are only a handful of "major cities"
The huge 3:
New York
Chicago
Los Angeles
Other large cities/metro areas from east to west:
Boston
Philadelphia
Washington, DC/Baltimore, MD
Atlanta
Miami/Ft. Lauderdale
Detroit
Minneapolis/St. Paul
St. Louis
Houston
Dallas/Ft. Worth
Denver
Phoenix
San Diego/Orange County
San Francisco/Oakland/San Jose
Seattle
Honorable mention: Pittsburgh and Cleveland could make the list by MSA population.
Memphis, Cincy, Nashville, New Orleans, Orlando, Tampa, Austin, San Antonio, Kansas City, Columbus, Charlotte, Raleigh, Buffalo, Indianapolis, Las Vegas, Portland, Oklahoma City, Pittsburgh, Cleveland are NOT major cities.

San Francisco is the prettiest big city in America. San Diego is my favorite.

Maybe I'm naive, but I don't see how a list of major cities in the country doesn't include Houston or Dallas.

I still haven't been able to visit every state in Dixie in avoid all the terrible BBQ. Tennessee, Kentucky, Arkansas and South Carolina are still on the bucket list.

Houston and Dallas are definitely not part of the huge 3 that everyone knows.

These were also my top 2 from earlier.

They are 4 and 5 in largest metro areas right behind those places though. I just don't cap my huge cities at 3 I guess.

It's common knowledge that after Chicago, New York, and L.A. there's a huge dropoff.
