Whatever I put in this year will be like .1% of what I am gonna put in every year when I'm raking in millions every 6 months. I won't miss it when I retire so I'm gonna enjoy it now.

Glad you think so

Unfortunately employers largely disagree

The firm I work at would legitly throw your resume in the trash

Hopefully you have some solid connections

Don't put the gpa on resume and knock them dead in interview. You do need to get it up to a 2.8sh though in case they do ask and show major improvement in junior/senior year.

You still have time to improve it enough, you just really need to work your arse off the last few years. Studying in library mon-thurs just reviewing or a few hours and shite like that so u can get as many a's as possible

Why? Because I have a job and work for my money and spend it how I please.

What's your job, and what's your income? I find it hard to believe anyone valuable enough to earn any reasonable amount of money is living paycheck to paycheck assuming he's going to make more money in a decade.

Did I ever say decade? Also I don't think I'll just announce my paycheck here.

I think it is relevant. Who cares? The Internet is anonymous. What motivation could have possibly have to hide your income?

But you talked about how you're pissing all of it away now? It seems like the exact kind of thing you talk about.

As I said before the extra money I have after all bills and loan payments get paid is not something I am worried about saving. If I happen to not spend it all, that is great. It isn't like I make an effort to spend it even when unnecessary. I will most likely be very close to broke at the beginning if September, but I'm not worried about it. I can start saving at the end of this year.

To me being financially responsible is login within your means and being able to pay all bills. Which I do.

I believe it is also financially responsible to have retirement. Do you at least have a Roth IRA?

I am 24 and I don't have any retirement. Will get there at some point soon, but right now after bills and paying down student loans, extra money goes into the spending pile. I also save a little for the occasional weekend trip.

Depends on if you can manage your money or not.

I am 24 too. I ahve student loans. I have also gone to NYC, Miami, Destin, and San Diego in the last 3 months for random travel. It isn't hard to save as well. Even an extra 5 years in a retirement fund like a Roth IRA can be hundreads of thousands down the road.

I'm not going to do it. it isn't necessary for me at the moment. I am paying off my student loans first. Let it go.
