I don't really know what qualifies as a hymn, so...
Knockin on Heaven's Door

In the Garden is probably a favorite of mine if I had to pick one.

O God, Our Help in Ages Past
- I actually love hymns with the organ pounding so loudly your insides shake. There's nothing quite like it. This is one that stands out to me as one of my favorites.... I plan on it being the recessional hymn at my funeral
LINK
O God, our help in ages past,
our hope for years to come,
our shelter from the stormy blast,
and our eternal home.
2. Under the shadow of thy throne,
still may we dwell secure;
sufficient is thine arm alone,
and our defense is sure.
3. Before the hills in order stood,
or earth received her frame,
from everlasting, thou art God,
to endless years the same.
4. A thousand ages, in thy sight,
are like an evening gone;
short as the watch that ends the night,
before the rising sun.
5. Time, like an ever rolling stream,
bears all who breathe away;
they fly forgotten, as a dream
dies at the opening day.
6. O God, our help in ages past,
our hope for years to come;
be thou our guide while life shall last,
and our eternal home.

quote:
"Drunken Lullabies" by Flogging Molly is badass.
I always preferred whats left of the flag and if I ever leave this world alive. But drunken lullabies is definitely solid.

I can't believe nobody has said
I'll fly away
Heavens jubilee
Standing on the promises
I'll fly away
Heavens jubilee
Standing on the promises

I believe that you can enjoy a hymn even if you don't agree with what it stands for
