Yes, I really think you might not be as hateful if you weren't always caught up in passing judgement on others.

Just try it for a week or two

Peace is what happens when you no longer live under the pressure and frame work you were born in and assumed was the only way that's right. Complete freedom. Freedom to say to you what I want with absolutely no repercussion. I can do that because what I believe is right, and because what you believe is wrong. And no other reason.

Join the club. Most here think I'm atheist. Try not to let it bother you.

My guess is that you simply don't know, which is the case for everyone; believers and non-believers. Nobody knows for sure. That's why believers call it "faith".

I had a previous account that got banned and then made this account a few months later. He's changed a lot as a poster since my last account was banned

People just told him they were tired of his hate and intolerance so he's been changing up his MO lately

I still love him and pray for him

I didn't change my mo, a had a change in my heart. But it changed back while I was asleep last night. It may change back before the afternoon so we'll see.

There's no place in a civil world for an uncivil anything. Religion is among the most uncivil thing our society practices. Blood and sacrifices and offerings and relic practices. The sooner we abandon it the better for the majority of us who know it's what is needed.

I personally wouldn't go that far, but I do believe that a free, democratic society and fundamentalist religion simply do not mesh. Part of the social contract of a free society is being tolerant of things you don't personally agree with so that we can all coexist and express ourselves freely.

There will always be a place for people to practice their religion peacefully and without imposing on others, and even as an agnostic I will fight for people to have that right. But fundamentalist religion like radical Islam and certain sects of radical Christianity and FLDS are not tenable in a free society. If someone is willing to kill or harm other free citizens in the name of their religion then that is something we cannot abide.

An AR15 is not a "assault rifle"

I'm a pretty strong libertarian, and I hear a lot of libertarian arguments being presented on the basis of natural rights by other libertarians, which is fine if they believe in a higher power or something like that, but when I hear the natural rights argument being presented on the basis of metaphysics or by someone who is an atheist, it really just sounds absurd to me. They have to make up reasons as to why we have rights and where we got them-- and it's just dumb.
