I have no idea what I scored, but they begged me to cross over to the other side. I asked them what my scores indicated my skillset was, and they said I tested to be an arborist or a nurse.

The recruiter was from my hometown, so I told him it sounded like the test said I was a bonafide tree hugger.

Can't remember what I scored, but we always used to get out of class and kill a lot of time by telling our teachers that we needed to speak with the recruiters. My redneck friends and I probably educated them more on firearms than the military did.

Ages ago, the scoring went to 140. This was the case at least into the mid 1980s.

Looks like scoring was changed in 2004, so the score actually reflected a percentage score.

I took the AFOQT as a freshman at Auburn in AFROTC. Did well enough to earn a scholarship. Never wound up serving because in 83 the military was RIFFING hell out of the officer corps and I had an eye infection that rendered my vision 20/40 uncorrectable. I was sooo sooo pissed. I wanted to be a pilot baad. What sucks is that after being released from my scholly and ROTC, in my sr year, the fricking AF started giving waivers because they RIFFED too hard.
