Not meant to be funny. More of a strawman kind of thing.

Doesn't do anything for me if you believe it or not.
You wear big boy pants, you can google.

Snopes has a bit about it FWIW. LINK
The kid's name is Abdul Rahman Ali al Harbi. A few quick google searches didn't dig up anything about him or supposed "terrorist" ties from any reputable news source, mostly just stuff from fringe sites and nutjobs like Glenn Beck and Alex Jones.

Discovery should be interesting.

It's his father that has apparently funded terrorism. He's one of the wealthiest men in Saudi Arabia. Whatever the truth is, it's a bit shady that this was put on the 'hush' when this was all going down. I don't believe for a minute the official story, especially considering the FBI was in near constant contact with the brothers that were accused. They were set up.
And in case you haven't been told, Alex Jones is a half truther. His role is to yell, scream, and make a fool out of himself in an effort to brand those that question official stories as nut jobs.

"Questioning official stories" is a very board group and a lot of them are, in fact, nut jobs. There's a difference between healthy skepticism and tin foil hat wearing conspiracy theorists, and it's a line you perilously tiptoe down.
For instance, if someone believes that we didnt land on the moon I wouldnt trust them with a spork. If you believe the government would turn drones on citizens on US soil, I'll take 200 grand for the Hoover Dam.

Zero summing is dangerous.
Most of the people that are educated on this beyond a few youtube videos think we did go to the moon, but that we also took advantage of the attention a moon landing created by filming certain things in a studio.
There are some real head scratchers out there when you really dig into it.
Plus Kubricks 'Shining' was a confession of his involvement in the Apollo program.

I'm both eager and afraid to hear what you think about 9/11.

What's really interesting is google has already indexed your post. Google your last sentence

Now that's a little freaky.

I dont think he's a full blown Loose Change window licker, but he thinks the government let it happen or something to that effect.
I've yet to see a single conspiracy theory he rejects. Oddly enough I just finished a psych rotation and people like him are very common and range from contrarian personality disorders to fullblown delusional disorders. The state of being far too credulous can also be and often is a psychological condition.
He may very well believe all of this, or he may just have a deep psychological desire to be contrarian. The former can be dangerous if left untreated.

The official story is a blatant lie. A quick note, I think the Saudi's and Israel had significant hands in it.
I'm not going to do this right now, there is no point.
But I will say that people often don't let truth and facts build on each other, most of the public shuts off all receptors to information that goes against the official story for one reason or another. People are unwilling to absorb relevant information on this subject because they're afraid to destroy their default version of reality.
I think it's ironic that the people that are certain the government had no involvement are totally unaware of some of the most basic truths of that day.
I'll add that I'm extremely fascinated by how political branding plays into what people are willing to entertain. Many hard core conservative types are open to conspiracies or government aggression against citizens when it involves Obama, but they're totally shut off to the idea that 911 might not be what we were told.

And crazy people are frequently unaware that they are crazy.
Your posts remind of a guy who used to post a lot on the Texags politics board about 5-6 years ago. He stopped posting abruptly, and about a year later it comes out he was arrested and committed after he assaulted a police officer during a warrant search of his home. He was under the delusion the police were tapping his home and watching him and had been sending threatening letters to the police, FBI, etc.

Klarv, I can speak for myself. Don't tell other people what you think I think. Kay?
There are plenty of conspiracy type things that I don't buy. I'm not a UFO guy, I'm not an alien guy. There's a ton of things in the conspiracy realm that I'm not even aware of because I don't spend much time on it.
I'm not an Alex Jones guy. I'm not a Loose Change or Zeitgeist guy.
I'm a pretty normal dude, if you can believe it.
And I don't appreciate the pseudo psychological analysis. You're being a dick. It seems that it's possible to be a pretty normal and cool guy who's coached an NFL team to a Super Bowl win while wearing the tin foil on 911.

I'm just trying to get a feel for this. Do you think the shining is Kubick's confession because of the reasons in the discovery article I linked?
