Yeah I did see this in a shaggybevo thread, and I thought, "hmm, I wonder what the OT board would think of this?"

Yeah I was on there to see what their opinion of the whole confederate flag ordeal. Wanted to see what a non-southern spin looked like.

My guess is the opinions were similar to what you'd find on TexAgs or amongst Texans in general. Without getting into the whole state braggadocio thing, the whole rebel/confederate past is much more subdued in comparison to the South. We place more of our pride in the Texas flag/Texan independence aspects of our history, and tbh that appeals to a broader range of folks.

You'll see rebel flags in TX, but if I had to rank its frequency, I'd probably say it's slightly behind the Mexican flag, which itself is a distant 3rd compared to the ubiquitous displays of Texan and American flags.
