I didn't use also when I should have in my original statement. Any other minutiae you'd like to discuss?

Pro baseball is awful.

College baseball is meh.

Baseball as a whole sucks.

Had you used 'also' it still wouldn't had made much sense. If all leagues are long enough to determine the best teams then it's kind of pointless to say 'thats what is great about the nba'.

Baseball ain't my cup o' tea--I'll probably never follow it religiously.

I do like going to the park, though, and enjoy the game when I get the chance to go. The K in KC and Minute Maid in Houston are fun venues.

That's why the NBA is great. The best teams always rise just like baseball. Which is why I love both but have severe issues with the idiotic wildcard game.

Eh, you can say best teams "rise" but in basketball you really only have 3-5 teams really able to compete for a championship. I mean at the start of the season you knew Heat, Thunder, Spurs, and Pacers were going to challenge for the title. Not to mention 16 out of 30 teams will make the playoffs in the NBA.

In baseball the Cardinals, Tigers, Red Sox, Rays, Dodgers all should contend but I think baseball isn't as certain. Last year the Red Sox were predicted to finish 3rd and came in and won it all.

I agree that baseball adding wildcard/playoffs teams does water it down but with the 2 wild card team having to play each other in a sudden death game it helps IMO.

I see your point however the same could be said of all those baseball teams outside of Tampa because like the 4 NBA teams you listed plus a couple more they have the best players and highest payrolls. For example 3 of the 5 highest payrolls made the LCS in baseball last year. The other STL was just outside the top ten in payroll. Pretty chalk IMO. I agree that too many teams make the playoffs but I also think the NBA has four too many teams.

The sudden death makes no sense after a season the length of baseball's season. It's the same reasoning I hated the first round of the NBA playoffs being best of 5 for a long time. Same reasoning I dislike the format of the NCAA tournament.

You can belabor my statement all you want but I get it mo you don't like the NBA or me so kindly frick off. I do find it ironic that someone who tells baseball haters they don't get it doesn't understand why I think the NBA is great.
