That's insane.

I've never heard of flooding like that in those areas.

I remember Mobile getting around 13 inches of rain at once some time ago, but this is hitting a larger area it seems.

Hurricane Danny maybe for Mobile. I can't remember a time other than that.

I mean:

Hillcrest at Grelot
University at Airport

Closed is practically incomprehensible.

It's crazy to see. I've been through that intersection thousands of times. Same with Airport and University and Hillcrest and Grelot. Mind=blown.

I've got to imagine Bit&Spur and most of Old Shell will be impassible for a while. The DIP is certainly underwater. Quite the impressive system.

I live in Pensacola. The amount of rain we've gotten in the last 24 hours is unreal to me, and I've lived in Florida my whole life. We are ok where we live at, but my friends are being flooded out of their homes. Not as crazy as tornadoes, but dangerous nonetheless. I keep looking at the radar and thinking it'll be over soon, yet it just keeps coming....

And this rain aint stopping.

but what are you gonna do? Miss work for at least half of a day tomorrow... that's what I'm doing.

from what I'm gathering from people there has been a lot of flooding on the Eastern Shore.

no signs of the rain stopping yet. Its not raining hard right now but the thunder and lightning is still steady.
