This is true. CFA is the most efficient and clean chain in America and every store is staffed with well spoken and clean cut people. And the food is consistently delicious from location to location. Don't have to break the bank in marketing when you earn that reputation.

Chic fill a has had very smart growth, and won't just let anyone open a franchise. They have to have managerial experience first, and still might not get one. KFC has switched too cheap ingredients, and figured their name and number of locations would keep the sales coming in. But people want less processed food, and KFC wants to squeeze every cent. You can't have both.

I also think it's kinda pathetic that Daryl Hammond is now doing KFC commercials. Wtf happened to that guy's career?

KFC is priced too high to be considered fast food anymore. I agree I hate the new Colonel

The only time I get "fast food" anymore is if I'm in a hurry and can't spend the 5-10 minutes in line at Chipotle. Otherwise... I eat at Chipotle.

Ok I just saw one of the new spots and all I can say is

Eta not because the Colonel is in them but because of the content of them

Yeah, this is just terrible. And that laugh is horrible. LINK

Although, it still wasn't as bad as this commercial. Although that one was hilarious because of how stupid their marketing department was.

That's how I imagine a 79-year-old pedophile would laugh. Really disturbing.

Kentucky Fried Chicken sucks. Trotting out a substitute Colonel doesn't change that.

I avoid all Yum! brand products anyway due to their financial affiliation with Louisville.

It was good when we were kids. Probably hasn't been good in about 20 years, though. Sad. I used to love the nights when we'd get a bucket of KFC original recipe with those mashed potatoes and gravy, slaw, and biscuits. So damn good.

Yeah, it was better years ago. I don't like fried food nearly as much as I used to though. I'd rather have their grilled chicken.

I've gone from liking the taste of fried food over the smell to vice versa. Weird.

I'll make an exception for Raisin' Cane's fried chicken fingers (and even then it's really the Cane's sauce that makes it for me), but other than that, I prefer grilled or baked chicken.

I'm all for Caine's or Zaxby's. There's a small chain in Kentucky called "Lee's" that is a lot better than KFC too.

I'm boutta go grill some wings on the back deck that are better than any of their unhealthy fried shite though.

I haven't had KFC in years, but it's not the exact same recipe as back in the 60's-70's. They changed it for the worse.

KFC purely sucks. It is an affront to fried chicken everywhere.
CFA is the best ever and an example of a well-run business with an excellent product(although those grilled nuggets are a little sketchy).

I think Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner should be the new Col. Its appropriate because, seriously, are we sure we are getting chicken at KFC?

Lee's was Shoney's answer to KFC. Their chicken tasted more like KY Fried used too. I was asking if they had shut down as I do not see their stores around much anymore. The one on Winchester Road was good but it has been closed for probably a decade.
