Lived in San Antonio for a minute with the Army. Been to Dallas, Houston, El Paso, and Waco among other places. Like I said, it's not all that great.

It's not the worst place that I've spent time, but it's certainly not the best.

I don't hate Texas. There are plenty of states that I dislike more than Texas. I just think that Texans are arrogant for no reason.

no reason?

too arrogant? yep.
arrogant for the wrong reasons? maybe
If we were Delaware, Vermont, or Maine and had that much pride? yes arrogant for no reason.
Texas has plenty to take pride in.

He's anti-gay marriage that is a Republican stance. A truly conservative stance is pro-gay marriage. I think his success as a lawyer had to do with him being a corporatist, not a capitalist. I consider him a Tea Party/Corporatist/Republican.

But, back to the previous point I was making, it is a two party system. The other end of the spectrum more often than not is so polarizing it correlates and identifies the most with compatible ideologies. The Republican Party is the party most representative of conservatives ideologies, whether from supporting them, or just being the sole opposition to the left.

I think NYC, Texas, and San Francisco take the cake.

In each of the places the number one favorite activity BY FAR is talking about how awesome those places are.
