I'm just saying the rest of the country thinks the South is a lot worse than it really is. You can't really argue that.

I dunno. There's no way in hell that I could live anywhere outside of a very large city in the deep south. Rural areas really are that bad.

What have I said that is prejudiced? I simply said I choose not to watch those shows. I didn't degrade anyone, say anyone didn't deserve anything or state that anyone was below anyone else.

Seriously though when all my Jewish Yankee friends came and visited by small rural Alabama town, they were blown away at how nice and normal everything was.
There are rednecks, sure but believe it or not there are also a lot of nice little places full of nice classy people. It's not just Squidbillies everywhere.

That's a pretty accurate assessment. I think Stewart and Colbert to a pretty decent job of calling people out on stupidity and hypocrisy.

Yet, you have WH senior officials who call right leaning people "terrorists". And I was told the Republicans just want to throw single moms and their kids out on the street, just this past weekend, because I dared say Obamacare was about wealth redistribution and rewarding, again, irresponsibility, by giving more to those who commit fraud and have more babies to get a bigger Gov't check.
