I do this for a living. It's never the persons fault who ends up getting shot. Every damn time some bullshite "he was a good kid" narrative comes out. This is rarely the case. Nobody wants to see someone lose a life, but it happens. That officer didn't wake up going "I'm going to shoot someone today." Go through a door yourself, then judge.

I don't give a crap what you do for a living. If you're in law enforcement and you have such callous disregard for the potential outcomes for citizen's interactions with you, you should resign today. I don't say that with a bit of hyperbole.

I've been pretty clear that there are good and bad cops. Just feel the profession seems to attract a power hungry type of person leading to a ratio of more douches than rational good guys that know the role of their job.

Most people seem quick to judge LEO's without putting themselves in the cops shoes. Where any traffic stop or interaction could be a life threatening situation.
Not to mention if your job is dealing with the evils of the world on a daily basis, you will start to expect the worst.
