O.k. No response from you. You didn't actually dig a board out and try it did you?
No response.

No I'll have to find one

There is some weird shite that goes on with ouija boards but I'd find it hard to believe it really has anything to do with "evil spirits ".

That's cool Flap. Glad your O.K. Take my advise, and don't mess with this. Unless you "WANT TO SEE TRUE EVIL".
Take care.

Ouija boards work because of your brain's ability to handle tasks subconsciously, much like breathing, blinking, or even sending the signals to make your heart beat. When you ask an ouija board a question, chances are you're either thinking hard about the answer or your subconscious is, as well as spelling out that answer. Your subconscious takes over from there and moves your hand accordingly, without much/any cognitive thought whatsoever. Take your hand off the little answer pointer thing and ask it a question and nothing happens. If there were truly demons or other forces involved that wouldn't be the case.

The raw power of the human brain is far more interesting (and sometimes scary) than any kind of paranormal shite.

The only reason my patients would be satting in the 80s would be because I take their breath away.

And these days I'm giving my dachshund insulin twice daily so it's the vet I'm bugging about it. Poor little guy is diabetic...found out the hard way when he developed ketoacidosis and we almost lost him.

By the way...Mack Brown told Finebaum that he is interested in the HC position at Carolina but that nobody from the University has contacted him yet. Don't hold your breath, Mack....well, actually go ahead and hold your breath. Talk about desatting....

So I believe it goes a little like this.

Historically the belief was that the summoner of a demon (or daemon) would be able to bend it to his will thereby tapping into its power for his own gain here in the temporal world. The down side would be that the devil always gets his due. Think Ouija boards. You are essentially summoning spirits to gain insight into whatever questions you want to ask. The downside is you might fall victim to evil.

I had a ouji board when I was a kid, made by Parker Brothers. Me and neighborhood kids would light candles and turn out the lights and play with it, all spooky-like, but nothing bad ever happenned that I am aware of. Not while I was ever participating. Pretty lame actually.

However, my little brother and one of the neighborhood kids swore they contacted a demon named Zordof when I wasn't there.

The interesting thing is.... whenever we would play with it, it was all in the context of talking to ghosts, the word "demon" was barely in our lexicon.

So it was weird they would tell me that it was a demon, as opposed to a ghost named Zordof.
