It is annoying, unless they have really awesome stories and know how to tell them in an entertaining fashion.

I know some pathological liars that are one uppers. I'm assuming they are dumb, but I don't know for sure because the only things I hear them say are their one upping stories.

Mainly because all the picky eaters I know are dumb.
Plus, you're missing out on some of the best aspects of life if you're a picky eater, especially when you travel. You'd have to be stupid to subject yourself to that.

Well define picky eater. I'm all for trying things I've never seen before but if I've had it before and didn't like it I won't try it again usually.
I'm known as the pickiest eater in my family bc I don't like many southern foods that are worshipped down here.

There are many picky eaters out there who won't even try anything new. It looks weird to them so they're convinced they won't like it.

I'm talking a little more extreme than that.
Picky eaters are probably my biggest pet peeve. I had an ex GF that I took to a nice seafood dinner one time and she ordered chicken tenders. I broke up with her soon afterwards.
Also went on a family vacation to the coast once and another family came with us. The other family wanted to eat Mexican food most of the nights. shite drove me up the wall.
