Exactly, I've got a few friends and family members who are hard core pill heads, some addicted 6+ years. Seeing how they are now just makes me sad.

This. I went to private school all the way up to my sophomore year in high school and there were drugs everywhere at both places.

I applaud you. You're luckier than you'll ever know. Opiate withdrawal is something I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.
I went to a public school in College Station's twin city so I saw tons of drugs as well.

Yeah I tried taking suboxone to get off of lortab, but the strips they started me on were more powerful than the damn pills I was taking. They also taste fricking horrible and you just have to sit there and let it dissolve. I ended up just going cold turkey. I'll never take another pain pill.

I was drugged once. Not sure what it was, but after having like 4 drinks, everyone in front of me turned into literal fricking orcs and baboons and I began to vomit of absolute terror. Once I realized what was happening, I was able to get my mind around it and calm myself down, but tinted lights scared the frick out of me. Most terrifying experience of my life, and I'm pretty confident I know who drugged me, which was a gay guy I said the F word (not frick) around, and he despised me after that. The guy was an absolute flamer and did a different drug every night.

Synthetic weed, had several buddies that did it so I went along until I got tired of thinking I was going to die of a heart attack every time.
