my drug of choice would be something with opium in it.
I've never done heroin, and I'm glad I never came across it in college.

Heroin. Apparently it's easy to overdose because of the ridiculously small amount needed, I did not know this and took a nice size coke rail before I hit the casinos in Tunica.

Worst drug I've ever had was Cipro. Made my hair turn white after a couple weeks.

yeah, had a bad accident and fell on a rusty stake.
ended up going through my left leg.
Cipro is used to treat infections, it's an antibiotic. I was like 20-21 with a full head of black hair and within two weeks I had gray going down the sides of my head. It's a side effect.

I had no idea there would be so many hard core drug users in this thread. I don't get it, really.
Haha we prescribe this all the time and didn't know about this side effect in humans. You get nausea from it at all?

Yeah when I was taking it I did get nausea.
I learned from my own research it was a hard core anti-biotic and I decided to stop taking it after the first 3 weeks. After that and shaving my hair off it returned to normal. I didn't end up getting a hard core infection from the spike so all was well.
Took about 5 years before the real gray started coming in. I knew it was unusual when it happened because from my maternal side there is very little gray. My grandmother and great grandmother lived to be 90+ years old and both only had a little gray on the edges of their line around the temples that started in their late 20s-30s. And mine is also like this. However imagining one day waking up and like half your hair is pearl white.. I was like WTF.

Yea it's considered one of the "big guns" b/c it's so broad spectrum. Nausea is common. I haven't heard of the hair color thing in dogs or cats but will investigate some of the texts to see if it's just an issue in people.

Same. I recently went through a 5 year span of taking lortab every day for herniated discs. Some days 5-6, some days just one. Amazingly I never got physically addicted. Finally had surgery and haven't had any in nearly a year. Not gonna lie, I miss them.
I was offered heroin once but I'm too sissy to stick a needle in my arm, which was how they were doing it. I left that place and never saw those guys again. Not even sure how I ended up at their house. Weird night.

Most intense high I've ever head. After about 5 minutes it felt like my brain was liquefying and dripping down my back. I couldn't make my mouth form words, just moaning sounds. Thought I was legitimately having a stroke. shite fricked me up bad.
I've seen people rail 2 or 3 gravs back to back and disappear into neverland.
Eta: other than that, I ate 1/4 of a suboxen (sp?) once and felt great for about 5 hours. My buddy ate half of one and couldn't move.

I was taking 5mg Oxys for 2 1/2 years. When I got to the point I was taking 10-12 at one time, I decided it was time to quit. Been sober for 2 years now.

Did a lotta blow in t town and it wasnt always the best quality. Me and a couple of buddys got a ball one night only to figure out shortly after that it was cut with laundry detergent. Threw up for about an hour.

Oxys don't do anything for me. I've broke 8 bones in my body over a 10 year span. 1-2 to me is like taking an aspirin, 5-10 is like a 6 pack of beer.
I probally shouldn't have told the doctor that after they cut my abdomen open to remove my gallbladder though. The day after the surgery, I was up and walking a couple miles before I'd get winded. When I started bleeding because I had popped one of the internal stitches they gave me some synthetic morphine and I couldn't move. Literally couldn't move out of my bed. I was there for nearly a week.
Man I hated that, because I'm always doing something. I think the only reason why they released me was because I cussed the doctor out about not even being able to leave the room for 4 days.

Damn. They were giving me 90 lortab 10's per month. Most I ever took at one time was 3, and I could barely move an hour later.
I'm still amazed I never got hooked after reading so many stories of pain pill addiction.
