Yes. It's a rough description. And not universally true. That was my point.

Additionally, Shaun's nasal bridge is high. The tip of his nose doesn't appear to have a lot of extra cartilage and his nostrils are probably only slightly larger than Jim on the Office.

which is why I put the emoticon after my statement...sweetheart.

Just the fact that you used the word "sweetheart" makes it seem like you are somewhat rustled. I don't want you to be rustled, sweetheart.

While I don't agree with all of their methods and protest, I agree with a lot of their ideals, or AT THE VERY LEAST the root of their message, which is to make sure that black people have a voice against injustice suffered by them.

I wished they would do more about protesting important things like black on black crime, poverty, the decline of the black family, and making sure black children are getting a proper education in the inner city. But I still respect what they're about.

Sure. I can get behind that, too. But when you're protesting a guy being shot who shot first, you're delusional.

I will say that they need to learn how to pick and choose their battles if they want to be taken seriously.

I'm looking for even a hint of black in this photo and I can't find any.

Is black more elusive than we all thought? Or is "black" just a state of mind these days?

In that picture not so much, but the very first picture he passes.

I'm not going to post their pics but I have cousins with blond hair and blue eyes who are part black. (this is still on my grandfather's side). They're all related to me by blood. Passing is a thing.

People are getting up in arms over people like Rachel Dolezal and Shaun King, but you'd be surpised by how many black people are passing as white.

Just watch Imitation of Life (the 1959 version).

He passes because he keeps his hair closely shaved like many black males, he clearly dyes his hair to be a darker color, he has a spindly mustache like some black men sport.

If he never pretended to be black and somehow ended up in the new as a normal white man, all of us wouldn't question that first pic at all...we'd all accept that he looks like a normal white person.

The pics of him don't look black. They just look like a white guy with closely shaved hair, black rim glasses, and a thin mustache.

This. I know several biracial people that pass as white. I have a little cousin that looks like Robin Thicke with blues. His mom is blonde and his dad is really light skinned.

Sounds like a great scam.

I knew some black guys that worked on Wall Street who vacationed in the islands posing as the natives with deed wigs to bang the gullible white chicks.

This guy is just scamming backwards. Posing as a black guy to get laid.

I say well played.

This picture could be the picture of any one of us lily white people. He just put enough doubt in everyone's minds that we're trying to see the "blackness", all of which isn't even there.

It's a fricking illusion and people are stupid for buying into it.

Dude is white. Family says he's white. Don fricking Lemon says he's white. Birth certificate says he's white.

Yet people still aren't sure because a loyal wife says otherwise.
