You don't know Shaun. And in the very unlikely case that you actually do, what makes you so certain he's at least part black? His accent? His closely cropped hair? His involvement in the black community?
For what it's worth, all of that can be easily faked. Just ask Rachel Dolezal.

But, at the end of the day, his birth certificate is proof that he's white. Case closed. No debate.

I do know him.
What makes me certain he's part black? The dude isn't a liar. Period.
He takes care of his family - ALL of his family, including nieces and nephews who needed a real adult in their lives.
I'm not a tinfoil hat kind of person, but this is all some fricked up shite.

Milo Yiannapolous is great. I've followed him for a while and I have to say he's influenced my thinking on several topics.

Again, using the Dolezal example, sometimes they don't look very hard. As to why he would do it? Maybe for the scholarship? Maybe to give himself more credibility? Assuming he's really white, the only person who could possibly answer that question would be him - and even he might not be able to articulate an answer. Sometimes the lie takes on a life so big even the liar begins to believe it.

We all want to believe our friends, but there appears to be a great deal of easily verifiable evidence that it is true. Now that the story's gone mainstream, the truth will probably come out pretty quickly.
Even if it is true, it doesn't mean he isn't a stand up guy for his family. People are complex. He can every be be the stand up guy for his family that you know while at the same time be living a lie in another part of his life.
