You can see the Mississippi from the Ukraine?

Yeah. Google Earth is just the best.
Oh, and the fact I live in Memphis.

That first sip of ice cold beer after a long day of work

A very cold first swallow of beer after doing non manditory labor all day on a project or something else extremely nice but not neccessary.
Right on brother

That first drink at a Saturday afternoon tailgate
Opening kickoff at a CFB game in a sold out, rocking stadium
The moment when you land the straight flush in a rich poker hand
Waking up at 6 AM and going back to sleep because you have the day off
Watching a baby/toddler get pure joy out of the most random shite
A genuinely great medium-rare steak
Getting an A on that test you were sure you bombed
All awesome

Waking up for a week straight with no alarm, and going to work not feeling like a slob.

65 degrees, slight sea breeze, not a person in sight and laying on an island at Sunshine Cove.

Going to work and never feeling like I have a job.
Doing my own repairs on my cars.
Growing food.
Seeing my dogs after being at work all day.

A rope swing into a swimming hole. Always loved that feeling when I was a kid.
Inside the stadium for a good SEC football game on an October night

Figuring I was in for another depressing day of ban-induced lurking only to discover I've been reinstated.

Three drinks into happy hour with a few friends when the edges finally start to soften.
Yes, that will work - but I prefer a couple of hits on the pipe and a couple of cold beers (okay, maybe 3 of each) sitting in a lawn chair with a couple of friends maybe watching the sunset (optional).
Not enough to get wasted, just enough to relax the edge a good bit as you say.

Finding a $20 in a pair of pants that you haven't worn in a while.
As a married man, eye contact with a women that hints she wants me. Even though I can't have her, it gives me that old fleeting feeling again.

Right on!
Nothing like the feeling, "I still have it".

Pot and water. Gulf, early morning trolling and casting, hot midday river riding, floating in tubes, swimming pools, etc

Making a good looking girl laugh or smile
Making a clean, hard hit on a golf ball/baseball
Driving down old familiar roads where you grew up
Random interactions with strangers when you both see the same thing happen and die laughing

Leaving campus the other day and at a 4 way stop another driver challenged me to Rock, Paper scissors for the right of way. I laughed all the home (because I won)
