Not just a reflection of the op- just you get on your tangents regarding women so it makes me curious.

Well then to answer your question, no I don't have a volatile relationship. Thanks for your interest.

Do you have an answer to the question in the OP?

Is this thread real? Are you this sexist?

You think the prisons are filled with black men because they're genetically more prone to crime, too?

I mean, surely it has nothing to do with a system where white men have been in power for centuries now so of course it will be slanted towards them and against other races and genders? That can't be it. Nope.

In that case, are the white men in power truly capitalists, or are they just doing other men a favor by keeping them employed? If women really get paid less to do the same job, then it's bad business to employ men at all.

So I'm guessing you think it's a load of crap that women are paid less than men for the same job?

We had a couple women who worked on the catfish farm before..one got caught screwing a guy working on the night shift because they were laying on the CB radio mike and the entire farm heard it

The other one was obsessed with cats and we would get on the cb radio and make cat noises and watch her through binoculars get out of the truck and look around for a cat, not knowing it was the radio

I have yet to run across this in my own experiences, but maybe it's out there somewhere, I don't know.

I've worked in both mostly fem and now I'm the only woman. I guess I prefer it now overall but I won't pretend that men can't be catty and as big of bitches as women.

I gave my own personal example, and I have been passed over on a promotion before for being a female. I had better numbers than the male I was going up against, but didn't get it because they thought "I wouldn't be able to handle the pressure." I never made a big deal out of it in either instance though.

I think many times it has to do with women having gaps in employment due to having children, family obligations, etc.

Here's a lengthy article from Pew Research stating the gap is nowhere near what it once was.

This. It's not necessarily fair but employers have to adjust for this employment risk. Unless you can medically prove you are unable to have children I guess.

I pay a higher premium on my insurance than women in my age class bc I'm male. It's the same thing.
