Sure, but it's about perception, and there's a perception that the UA administration gives preferential treatment to the Greek organizations. Whether that perception is right or wrong, I can't say, but that perception is there and has been there for decades.

This is so stupid. "Machine" has power but it isn't because any preferential treatment or shady stuff.
When SGA "represents the students" and the admins ask for student input, they look to SGA. Greeks are the only large "organized" grouping of students so they vote themselves into those roles. They then represent their understanding of student life which to them is Greek life.
