Saunders would be crazy not to trade Love for all of that. They would make out like a bandit.

#6 pick
#17 pick
Sully or Olynyk (would like to keep Olynyk)
And probably next two years first rounders.

Damn you Chad Ford! I don't want A-Aron Gordon.

Paul Pierce, please come back to Boston for a low salary!

I really am not crazy about Randle in the NBA. Would rather have Smart.

Would have rather had a top 3 pick and gotten Embiid, Wiggins, or Parker.

He plays too hard to be bad in the NBA. Now it may take him some time to develop his jump shot and to finish over length, but you could put him on a NBA court tonight in a game he would go get you 10-12 points and 8-10 rebounds.

That vertical looks better because it's from the ground. Still a good jump, but not insane.

Who was it that cleared the slides on the vertical this year? I think it was running vert too.

38.5 is pretty damn good for a guy his size. Aaron Gordon who seems to be known for his leaping ability only beat that by .5 at the combine.

eta: Looking at the combine numbers 38.5 would have in the top 10 of all the players there.

What was Wiggins? I know he was not there at the combine.

I'm not saying he won't be good or play solid minutes. I'm just saying there are a few other routes I hope we take instead of this one.

Free agent Kyle Lowry and the Heat have "mutual interest," according to ESPN's Brian Windhorst.
Lowry is coming off a terrific season with the Raptors in which he averaged career-highs in points (17.9), 3-pointers (2.4), rebounds (4.7) and assists (7.4), while adding 1.5 steals and a stingy 2.5 turnovers in 36 minutes per game. He told beat writer Michael Grange in early May, "I love this situation [in Toronto]. It's as simple as that." Any daliance with the Heat is complicated by Miami's salary-cap crunch -- in order to pay Lowry the $10+ million he'll earn annually as a free agent, at least one of Miami's Big 3 would have to opt out and restructure their contract this summer.

I saw that the other day. It was basically confirmed to be click bait.

I think the Heat this past year and it looks like going forward are going about this all wrong. They need to build more depth to allow these guys some rest. Pat Riley seems to be in love with getting guys that have name value.
