Hmmm. Trying to look at it objectively I agree somewhat. I think that people forget or ignore blind drivel and hate the last 3 years of Bush's presidency. I mean it's been 7 years of it for Obama so I think the amount of time is in Obama's "favor" but there was some serious disrespect.
Carter was pretty disrespected as well. And as nice a guy as he was an amazing humanitarian, not a great leader.

Even if you fully agree with his policies and world view (and I do not), I don't see how you could dispute this statement.
He is a terrible leader and often appears to be completely tone deaf.
I think it was you that mentioned LBJ upthread and you were spot-on. Terrible human being and an overall terrible president but he had the leadership ability to get people motivated and moving. Obama couldn't even do that with a congressional supermajority.
