Okay, yeah I'm an old fart that is still amazed at all the movies/programs at my fingertips on Netflix. Here are just some of my more recent discoveries - Germans to most of you, but new to me so frick it.

1. Walking Dead - STILL FREAKED OUT THAT THEY ATE THE FRICKIN' HORSE. That wasn't right. I love what they've done with the zombie genre here but I have a hard time watching this show 'cause I like to eat when I watch T.V. Tough to do with all of the walking corpses in this show.

2. Daredevil - Really good show. Takes it's time, but the payoffs are worth it. Great acting for the most part (Foggy Nelson looks the part but whoever the actor is is struggling to keep up with the rest of the cast, imvho). The Kingpin frickin' rocks in this one.

3. Rain Man - Yeah I never bothered to watch this one before. Started slow but was outstanding. I know Hoffman won the Oscar for his performance in this movie, but Tom Cruise knocked this one out of the park. Great acting by Cruise.

4. The Italian Job - Not impressed with this movie. I did enjoy the opening scene in Venice, though.

5. Snowpiercer - Disappointing piece of junk.

6. Family Guy - Just about finished with season 6 of something like 12 seasons. When it's on, this is the funniest show on TV. When it's off it's painfully off. Brutal to Christianity. McFarlane should go after Islam this hard, but I doubt he has the stones.

7. Peaky Blinders - Not worth binge watching, but definitely worth watching. Good stuff at an interesting time in the UK.

8. Full Metal Alchemist (Brotherhood) - My kids swear by this. For me, it's interesting. That's about it.

9. Parks and Recreation - Awesome. First time I saw Chris Pratt was in Guardians of the Galaxy. Very fun to watch him in Parks and Rec knowing he'll be Star Lord some day.

10. The Fifth Element - Can't believe I missed this one back in the day. An over the top sci-fi shoot 'em up that refuses to take itself seriously. I liked it.

11. Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt - Meh. Reminds me of the old shows that needed laugh tracks. Likable lead, but they keep shooting off one liners that aren't that funny and then kind of wait for the laughter that never really happens.

12. Hot Fuzz - Almost stopped watching about halfway through. GLAD I didn't. The payoff in this movie is awesome and won me over. Good flick.

13. Goon - Surprisingly fun movie. Was kind of expecting a Slap Shot remake, but it definitely brought it's own vibe. Makes hockey fights kind of endearing.

14. How to Train Your Dragon 2 - Glad I didn't pay to see this one at the theater, but not a bad way to spend 1h 42m otherwise.

So --- what else should I be watching?

Bloodline. It is a new Netflix original series starring Kyle Chandler. It's only one season so it doesn't take long to finish. Watch the first episode and you will be hooked! Incredible acting and story.

You're not the first person that's told me that. I will definitely check it out.

I watched Foxcatcher today.

While not the greatest movie, it was worth the time spent watching it. Steve Carell does a great job. The entire cast (Carell, Mark Ruffalo and Channing Tatum) is actually pretty good. Having competitively wrestled when I was younger, I can tell Ruffalo and Tatum spent some time around wrestlers and training for the movie. Their mannerisms off of the wrestling mat, not just on it, add to the movie.

I think I'll watch Whiplash later this evening.

I thought it was ok, but I knew nothing about it going in.

I think I watched both seasons in 3 days. Probably my favorite TV show.

I LOVE this movie. Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, and Edgar Wright are amazing.

Pleasantly surprised at how good this move was.

When I heard they were making a Daredevil TV series, I didn't have high hopes (the movie with Ben Afflack blew). Several people has said the show is awesome. Might have to look into it

Every forth word is "frick" and it's still a great movie.

Definitely Breaking Bad if you haven't seen it. Best show I've ever seen. Season 1 is a tad slow but 2-5 are non stop incredible.

Also LOST.

The one thing Netflix does well is documentaries. They have ALL the Ken Burns movies. I recommend The Civil War, it's an 8 part documentary series and it should be required viewing for Americans.

Agreed.

Black Mirror is another good suggestion.

Broadchurch is another good British show.

Definitely an underrated movie. The intentional attempt to parody itself goes right over the heads of many it seems.

This is not my first Netflix report.

House of Cards and Breaking Bad were in my first un-official report.

LOVED THEM BOTH! Breaking Bad = the best TV in history, imvho. House of Cards is excellent.

So, anyway, screw you.

I am watching netflix while I work in my shop a few days per week. Just went back and watched the full series of Californication. It is a fantastic series if you can handle the really fricked up shite.

I am thinking of starting a net series tomorrow...

I also saw the full series of Spartacus. A must see
