You guys need to check out "Danger 5". It takes place back in the 60s and 80s (season 2), where this group is trying to kill Hitler. It is a comedy making fun of the those eras and it does a damn fine job. It is also an Australian show, but it doesn't matter, it's too funny.

Also Illsa and Claire are hot

Or any other similar sites. I can watch almost any show of that and similar sites. Netflix is alright, and I won't ever pay for Hulu. Amazon Prime might be good, but haven't checked them out lately.

Thanks for the tip on Daredevil - I had stayed away thinking "Ben Affleck".

Netflix did a really good job with Daredevil. Fear not.

Offhand;

True Detective - Woody Harrilson and Matthew McConaughey are amazing together. This is some of the best acting for both. The script is excellent as well.

The Killing - Why is every female detective lead named Olivia? (Seriously: SVU, The Killing, Fringe, I'm sure there are more.) This is a great series and an amazing murder mystery.

Breaking Bad - A cultural icon.

Orange is the New Black - Only watch if you and the wife are ok with ugly lesbians and some nudity. A top class drama about a low security women's prison.

I'm hooked on "Rectify". 2 seasons complete. Man gets off death row after 19 years and returns home to small town south Georgia. Slow moving, but highly recommended.

The one thing Netflix does well is documentaries. They have ALL the Ken Burns movies. I recommend The Civil War, it's an 8 part documentary series and it should be required viewing for Americans.

If you loved it, you should watch The West (also by Burns). In some ways, I think it's even better.

We will then pick another Burns documentary series and work through it.

Don't miss The West.

The Killing. ... My wife got way ahead of me while I was wasting time on crappy sci-fi offerings. We're on Season 4. Good show. It's a Netflix production ....

It actually started as an AMC Production for the first few seasons before being cancelled and picked-up by Netflix.

I liked The Killing ... but, FWIW, I like The Bridge and The Red Road better.*

I just finished catching-up on "True Detective." All I can say is, wow! Can't wait for Season II.

"Danger 5"

"You guys," really?

Not cool. Anyways, you're forgiven ... this one time.

In the meantime - Danger 5 looks interesting. Appears to be a throwback on some of the 60s action/spy themed shows like Man From U.N.C.L.E and Secret Agent Man.

Danger 5 - Trailer

Danger 5 - Great Moments

ETA: Danger 5 - Season I, Episode 1

Spartacus is probably my all time favorite show.

Rome has excellent reviews, I never watched that when it aired. It's only 2 seasons.

Da Vincis Demons is good, Black sails is pretty good, Pacific is another one in my top 2-3 with Spartacus and GoT (even though it was a miniseries)

8. Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood was one of the few animes I've really enjoyed. I think it's exceptional all the way around. What season are you on?

Really? I couldn't get over that it looked like an N64 game. They tried waaay to hard to emulate the 300 style.

Yeah you guys will love it yall!

Season 1 is great, but Season 2 really goes places! Season 2 has Jonny Hitler (Hitler goes back to high school....one of the best ones), Hitler going into outer space, and a future where Hitler won the war. Its pretty damn good, but more 'out there' than season 1.

Also the producers of the show only intended for it to be only 1 season, thats why season 2 is so crazy. Seriously you guys.
