Went last year for a long weekend and hit:

Husk
The Catbird Seat
Loveless Cafe
Pinewood Social

Aside from Loveless the other 3 are all higher class type joints. You won't get into The Catbird Seat at this point (my favorite restaurant "experience" ever with good food), but Husk is a great spot and Pinewood Social had a great lunch

Duly noted. I wish we were staying a couple more days to check all these out. Do you live in Nashville?

One that doesn't get mentioned much, but is absolutely fricking stellar, is Mas Tacos Por Favor.

Pharmacy is the best burger place.

No, but I travel there for work and I have even vacationed there.

It's a great city. If I weren't so committed to where I am in, I would move there.

I live in nash. Dont listen to people that say Five points has the best pizza and Pharmacy has the best burger. Those people cannot be trusted

Will Cover's list is pretty good.

Most overrated restaurant i have ever tried. Tried it three times. Loveless is 2nd.

People like to mention Pinewood Social. It is good for atmosphere, drinks, apps, and bowling, but not for a meal.

The Pharmacy for a burger but get there early or you'll wait forever. Casty can tell you about the bbq joints.

I was disappointed to find out that The Sunset Grill closed. I had some fantastic meals there 15 years ago, or so. I hadn't eaten there in about a decade...did the quality decline, or what?

For brunch, biscuit love and tavern are two of my faves. If you try to go between 10-2 on the weekend, you are lookin at a 1.5 hour wait. That makes biscuit love impossible because you have to stand in a line i think. At tavern, you can go next door to a bar.
