Lol. That Berbick knockout is one of my top 3 of all time.

I would call Ali the Heavyweight GOAT. But the hands down GOAT regardless of weight class is Sugar Ray Robinson. Anyone who says differently doesn't know shite about boxing. Unfortunately there isn't much footage of him in his prime because of limited technology, but my God he was an artist in the ring.

The 80's had some great middle weight battles with Hagler, Hearns, Duran and Sugar Ray Leonard. Hagler is one of my all time favorites.

Tyson had a very good chin. Douglas had to beat on him for 10 rounds, land big shots throughout, before he finally TKO'd him.
And a highly unmotivated Tyson was losing the fight all night to a super motivated Douglas (fighting for his mother who had recently passed), before Tyson got screwed out of a KO win in the 9th round by a slow count by the ref.

Hagler vs Hearns is the greatest 3 rounds of boxing of all time, imo.

The Motor City Cobra AKA The Hit Man, Sugar Ray Leonard fight was awesome too.

Hearns was smiling all the way to the canvas.

I remember on the Memphis news/newspapers leading up to that fight they were acting like it was the biggest thing to ever happen to the city. Everyone was so excited and then the fight ended in, what, less than a minute?

My favorite was Aaron "Hawk" Pryor. Hawk Time mother fricker

It was 8 rounds, but basically it was Tyson looking inept for 22 minutes.

Back to the subject....Ali and it ain't close. Ali would dance and then jab Tyson at will and when the opening came....boom, boom, out goes the lights.

I must be thinking of another fight that ended so quickly. But I remember all the hype around town for that fight

and vicious. None of the big names wanted to fight him because of how ruthlessly and relentlessly he went after opponents.

Exactly. All of those guys were power punchers just like Tyson, to say Tyson would wipe the floor with Ali is asinine. And Tyson didn't have a chin like Frazier, Norton or Foreman. We didn't find out about Tyson's chin until Buster Douglas because everyone was afraid of him.
Tyson was a bully just like Sonny Liston. And like Liston, once someone went toe to toe with him kicked his arse, he lost his nerve and was never the same.
Ali would weather the opening tornado and then wipe the floor with Tyson, all day every day.
Ali > Frasier > Tyson
