Sounds more like a lie.

Did I strike a nerve or something? And I've never lived in a suburb. I work in the oilfield around tons of black dudes, and some of them even call me their n*gga. I can screen shot texts for you if you really want.

Do you have the cred to reciprocate?

I've got more black friends than both of you can lie about having.

You seem to be very interested.

With Marquise and Midnight. But I worked really close with them for about a year and a half before they quit. The older black guys? No. Not at all. I think most black men ages 40 and up are sensitive and cognizant of a racial world I'm not. Late 20s early 30s? Yeah. Much more likely. I mean that word to me is endearing because that's the context I prefer, but I don't tell anyone else that if they don't feel the same, and I definitely won't drop it around black dudes I'm not close with because I can't act like I have some sort of entitlement to apply my definition how I want to. It's honestly not that big of a deal to me.

She just moved to Texas and we were chatting about God knows what. She says something to the effect of(I'm paraphrasing I can't remember the context) that, "there is a difference between a black person and a n******."
I imagine you were participating in a racist conversation for this phrase to come up. Maybe playing along in an attempt to get your dick wet.
quote:
This cute little white girl from suburban Birmingham wouldn't have said that in front of a black person,
Well no shite. You wouldn't make a fat joke in front of a fat person.
quote:
I'm assuming 98% of your fan base believes this bigoted concept.
That's a broad brush, and a racist statement in and of itself. While her terminology was off base, her idea was not. All black people do not consist of the same moral fiber. That was her point, she just used a terrible word to make it.
quote:
Let's not play the "o no I'm not using any racial undertones" card. It's disingenuous. And no matter how many white people you apply the word "thug" to, it won't change the racial undertones
You're a pussy. Plain and simple. You probably don't believe half the shite you just typed. Get off your equality high horse. It was evident from the beginning of your post that you yourself are likely indeed a racist thug. Phrases like the "cute little white girl from Birmingham" uttered to you don't just pop up out of nowhere. It sounds like you were generalizing about black people, like you just did with Alabama fans, and she put her two cents in.

First boob I ever touched in 7th grade was a mixed girls. Breanna. We dated for like 2 weeks before she wanted to trade me in for my friend KC. I think she just wanted to frick and KC fricked this Mexican chick Fernanda on top of a Subway.

Her idea was completely off base and racist.

I believe every word I just typed.

So you really don't think that people use the word thug as a subversive way of using the n-word in public? Really? Just yes or no will do.

There just isn't any reason for me to say it, and I don't really have any desire to do so. It doesn't matter if my friends are fine with it or see it as a term of endearment... Too much hurt attached to that word.

I mean yeah that's what I was saying about the older generation. I think the younger generation of black guys my age that use it towards me, is endearing. So when I reciprocate it's the same way. I mean. Again my point was I am saying I don't have the will or authority to tell someone how they should feel about a word. But if both people know the message begin conveyed then it's fine with me.

And for the record, I absolutely was. I totally would have fricked her. Didn't close though. No one to blame but myself.
