Sometimes you just have to unleash the thuggish hounds of war, or they'll eat your soul. If you got a little thug in you, then it's best you find an outlet for it, lest it fester and present itself in an undesirable situation.

Define down south...because I've got more black contacts in my phone book than Telafawx has ever shaken hands with in his lily white texas suburb. And I'm from a town historically notorious for racism, Oprah even made a movie about it. As such im now a viable play in the six degrees of Kevin bacon.

I think if you've been out in the world in any form or fashion you know the subversive meaning. I'll give you an example. An Alabama grad I used to work with went to a training class with me. She just moved to Texas and we were chatting about God knows what. She says something to the effect of(I'm paraphrasing I can't remember the context) that, "there is a difference between a black person and a n******." Now. This cute little white girl from suburban Birmingham wouldn't have said that in front of a black person, but it's definitely a sentiment I have heard conveyed numerous times. You would have to be blind, dumb or deaf, not to have heard that in some form or fashion. You're an Alabama fan. I'm assuming 98% of your fan base believes this bigoted concept. Now cute little white girl wouldn't go dropping n-bombs in public, she would use the word thug as a substitute. You know it. I know it. Let's not play the "o no I'm not using any racial undertones" card. It's disingenuous. And no matter how many white people you apply the word "thug" to, it won't change the racial undertones. Words don't have rigid definitions, and aren't mutually exclusive.

Not tryna play the trump card or anything, it's just my mom's family is from the northeast (PA/NY/NJ) and midwwest (MI), while my dad's is from TX and the south (SC/Alabama), so I've spent some time in both environments. People watching is fascinating in contrast sometimes.

Sorry I'm an engineering major not a history major. I wish I had the opportunity to be a sidewalk fan. Besides, I'm from Texas, Malcom X never showed up in any of my textbooks
