Biggest guy on the team put a huge hit on me and it tore up my left thighmuscle. I was in 5th grade and freaking out because my muscle was having crazy spasms. It sucked.

1) Broke all ribs on right side, punctured/collapsed lung, grade 3 liver laceration, cheast tube & catheter (sp?).
1A) Opiate withdrawal, cold turkey.
2) Currently have 2 ruptured discs (L4-L5-S1) & Canal Stenosis (sp?).
3) Stabbed 3x. Didn't feel a thing until adrenaline stopped and had to get stiched up.
3A) Broken both bones in right arm just above wrist. Had a plaster cast for over 2 months all the way up to my underarm. I was in like 3rd grade so I don't recall a lot, other than they had to take the initial cast off and reset the break a few days afterward because the swelling was so bad, when it went down, the cast was too loose and bones weren't going to heal straight.
4) Turf toe.

For all the people with kidney stones I'm sorry I've heard that is god awful, I hope I never get one. For me I have two.
1. Tearing my acl, mcl and meniscus at football practice.
2. Being kicked so hard in the nuts that I was knocked out, happened in an amateur mma match.
It's a toss up between the two.

From what I've read so far, I believe you win. That's awful. Hope you're fully recovered.

I have 3 herniated discs in the same area .Very painful.

Had to be painful considering you were so young.

I'd think this one would be much easier to endure.

My ribs and lung still hurt on occasion, 4 years later.
Turf toe will surprise you. Can't hardly walk or wear a shoe.

Bottle of water fell off a shelf and landed perfectly on my toe next to my big toe. It took the entire nail off somehow. Took months of painful recovery and a doctor picking at that skin thats usually under a a nail. Whenever something falls infront of me, I instinctively move my feet back now.

I had an ingrown/infected hair on my ball sack a few years ago. I didn't want to go to the doc so I would drain it everyday. The thing got to about the size of a quarter and tears would come to my eyes when I would drain it. It hurt much more than any broken bone/sprain I've ever had.

Those frickers scare me more than any other snake. I've seen them try to get in the boat while fishing when I was a kid. Gave me nightmares.

Compound fracture in my arm when I was 13 or when I got 3rd degree burns on both feet when I was 8.

20mm kidney stone i had removed.
It was so big it cause scar tissue in the u shaped urethra..
had it from august to november hurting like a bitch every week.
toradol is a wonderful drug. Immediately stops the pain when you are laying there rolling around in the ER room floor. Puked from the pain. And my pain tolerance is sky high.
oh and went without taking narcotics with the pain from it also. Couldnt take them. On suboxone.

When I tore my meniscus in my left knee playing basketball a couple years ago. Didn't realize fully what had happened at the time--ended up finishing (and winning) the game of 21 I was playing. Stupid
Still haven't had surgery on it, either--this was 3 and a half years ago. It was a "clean" tear, so after about a month on crutches I could walk on it. Now I can run on it, but have to be careful not to twist it.

to the good people who manufacture it. The moment when it starts working is worth the entire bill.

That's like 4/5 of an inch in diameter.

I've never met one with a good disposition...it's like they were born mad. And when they bite they don't want to let go. Had to pull my hand out of it's mouth. I was fortunate not to lose any limbs or use of my hand.

Yes, you were very fortunate. Glad to know you're ok. Had it been me, I'd have just dropped dead on the spot from sheer horror.

Freshman year of high school I got jumped by a few brothas that wanted something I had. They got it, I got stomped with a broken nose, broken jaw, couple black eyes, and bruised ribs. Not a good trade.
It was horrible.
It was horrible.

I thought the acl was bad, but I think falling off that 10 foot ladder was worse.
