Anyway, take your pick.

2002 - HS Football was Chop Blocked landed on my left arm kind of funny and lost all feeling until after I was up and walking around. Ended up breaking both bones in my forearm had to be in a heavy plaster cast for nearly 10 months.

2004 - HS Football Chop Blocked in one of my last games, one guy went low and hit me in the knees with his helmet. Ended up tearing my ACL and MCL in my left knee. Really what sucked about that was not being able to get up on my own.

2010 - Hit by an 18 Wheeler smashing my truck into a concrete divider. Hit my head on steering wheel was knocked unconscious. Painful part was the headaches. Used to get them 4-5 times a week and it felt like I just couldn't do anything. Every once in awhile I'll get one now, but it's nothing like it was.

Back surgery is no joke.

Had a safety harness break and fell 20' about 12 years ago. LUCKILY I only Fractured my shoulder, seperated my ribs on the side and sternum. could not breathe without hurting for a 2 months. frick shite count

Now that I'm older I get to deal with the after effects: Neck Surgery for me last fall, due to arthritis, bone spurs, stenosis and had a ligament wraped around the spine the wrong way, only found out when the surgeon opened me up. Fused c5, plate with 4 screws, sucked and still have problems, not as bad. After surgurey it felt like I was hit in the throat with a baseball bat. frick shite count.

Shoulder problems, aritits, bone spurs in ac jounts and Have a torn rotator now and that fricking hurts when it's inflamed. FM

got a staff infection on a bad wound I had on my ankle/lower shin area. Had to do what was called a wet/dry bandage. You soak gauze in water and then ring them out to where they're damp, place it on the wound and wait 8 hours or so then pull the bandage off. It literally rips the infection/nastiness away. Never again

Kinda funny how that works. I had a clean break of my left arm, both bones, to where I held my left arm up with my right and it was just sorta flopping around grotesquely. Strange thing is I got up flopped it around a bit, thought holy shite arm is fricked, but it didn't hurt for a while. Just totally numb and really weird how long it took to start hurting.

I've broken my wrist and ankle and that shite hurt immediately, but not when I broke my arm.

I've had to remove bandages from road rash from motorcycle wrecks and that shite is definitely no fun when you have to pull them off.

This thread makes me really thankful to have never had any broken bones or serious conditions.

I'd say the worst pain I ever felt was in high school I had an ingrown toenail and I tried to get it out myself. Didn't really hurt, but it got infected. I used to put off going to the Dr. until I literally cannot function normally so I get to the point where my toe is so infected I can barely walk and it hurts just to have my foot in a sock. Go to the Dr. and they literally take off my toenail and start scraping all of the infected nastiness off. The shot they put in my toe to numb it didn't work that great so the entire process was excruciating.

Use to get stingers in college. Getting one wasn't a big deal but getting up and knowing you we're probably gonna have to make another tackle and experience it all over was pretty shitty.

After a couple stingers, I was really hoping for a pass play so I could just drop into coverage instead of taking on fullbacks and pulling guards.

Snakebite was easily the worst. Bite itself wasn't so bad but once the venom began circulating through my system, it hurt like a motherfricker. Thank God for narcotics and pretty nurses

broke my back at the L5-S1 at 21yrs old. went to the doc and they told me while waiting for surgery(had to) to start taking allergy meds to avoid sneezing at all costs and to try and not throw up....that night i got horribly sick from food poisoning and spent the entire night throwing up in and in the most horrific pain because of it.

the surgery and recovery wasnt fun either.

OMG! I have herniated discs & it's bad enough throwing up with a virus. I can't imagine having food poisoning with a broken back!
