WTF??? Links. WOOOOOWWW. Hope that's an urban legend.
And I usually stick up for Ole Miss when LSU fans say Ole Miss is racist. Ole Miss fans, students, Alumni actually stood up against the KKK when they showed up on campus.
I can remember a girl from LSU posting how blacks that attend LSU are shunned if they don't play sports. I've heard someone at an Arkansas game refer to their basketball player as a "nigge*" during a game at Bud Walton. We stood up and turned around trying to see who it was.
Ole Miss changed their mascot, Miss State talked about not flying the state flag on campus. But all they want to bring up is SWJ's at Mizzou, Mizzou liberals, Mizzou to Pac 12, etc. When one school banned a damn flag, changed it's mascot to a damn black bear, another school considered not flying their damn state flag. But they wanna trash Mizzou.

Makes me sick to my stomach. Saw this dude on TV, well spoken, looks like he's manipulative. Parents are rich and he complains about racism. Wow.

Get out of here with that shite. I was in Kansas City last week when he had about 800,000 people black and white mixed together. No racial incidents, no rapes, muggings, robberies, shootings and the rally wasn't too far from the black area of the city so there was thousands of blacks there mixed with whites. But you said similar problems in inner cities.
That's awesome especially considering the historic race riots in Kansas City in 1968. And honestly we aren't having many race/crime related issues in our state other than in the Atlanta area. But don't pretend that race relations wasn't at the heart of the issues on Missouri's campus and in Ferguson and in way too many cities throughout the U.S.

The Mizzou shite is stupid because black people should expect racism when you are on a campus with the population of a city of about 25,000. Then they manipulate the football players to put it in the spotlight.

Real racial issues are buried anyway. No one on this board cares. You notice they just call African-American students over the top and to get thicker skin. It's irritating.

Should expect racism in the town not an institution of learning. Excuses till the end

Racism is over. Wolfe resigned.

Racism will never be over. Wolfe just blew at public relations. It took athletes striking for him to pay attention which a shame. I guess the whole situation just makes some upset. You have one side potentially sensationalized things to get coverage. While the other just laughs and ignored a probable racism problem on campus months before. Then athletes strike and you have people telling them t shut up and run the football pretty much. As radical as all this is I see how we really vieww any color for opinions that differ from theirs. They are humans not commodities. Just disheartening.

Why wasn't Obama impeached if the buck stops at the top. Why was Wolfe the scapegoat?

How did the institution promote racism? Or allow racism? Be as specific as possible.
We have recently had wives of our administrators using racial language. But they were black, so they probably don't count. Amirite?

The school should have hosted guest speakers to speak on the hurtfulness of bathroom poop swastikas. Mandatory attendance for all students.

Or maybe community town hall meetings on race and how people feel about it on camps. Freshman intro classes that include talks about diversity in higher education campuses. It's not really a joke because this is an issue at colleges everywhere. Mizzou just didn't handle it well. People like to be listened to and felt as if they have a voice in amatter.

Promote no but allow to fester yes. There are small ways to make students at least feel like "hey my campus cares about me" I'm not saying fire everyone and I'm not saying bend to every radicals demands. I'm saying before an issue starts educate your students on race and provide arenas for diversity to be spoken about. Some students just need to get things off their chest and they can see and be shown support.
