I have had NO issues with RUGER at all.. Love both of mine SR9C and LCP.. lol even named my damn cat Ruger and hes already caught a mouse

If you are in Tuscaloosa go to Gander Mountain. Better selection than Woods-n-Water and they price match. I wouldn't give my money to Woods-n-Water if I didn't have to.
You can also try Academy Sports.
But Gander Mtn has more selection than WW and Academy out together. They also have a nice selection of used guns.
I am looking at possibly getting a Ruger Sr40c compact .40.
To the one that said a 1911. If you are looking at one good luck finding one in your price range. Cheapest one I've seen new was 549 and it was only a .22 caliber at Bass Pro.
