I suspect the focus of the severe weather tonight will be generally south of the cell with the tornado currently S of St. Louis. Anything north of there is shot from all the cold air pumping out to the N. Storm cluster near Joplin will roll in going NE and eventually turn E following the boundary those storms created.

Southern Missouri into Western Kentucky is where my guess is for the most likely area for tornadoes this evening.

Haven't really checked much today beside the SPC stuff. Same features in play as yesterday, just moved to the east. Really wide swath of coverage as this is a fairly complex system to really nail down most likely effected area.

There's a surface low somewhere in Kansas that will push off to the east. Typical set up with a warm swath and front leading out to the east and north of the low and a cold front strengthening to the west and south.

The more moisture rich set up should consolidate cells into lines along any impulses. I'd read your local NWS discussion for capping and shear for your local area. I'd imagine the risk today will be more in the form of strong winds from downdrafts and hail. Stretching from Arklatex NE toward the Ohio valley. Tornadoes aren't out of the question but I seriously doubt they'll be very strong.

Keep an eye out North Texas way for the beginning of the week. Some models are hinting at good conditions for severe weather, but still too far out to have much certainty.

If it's the one on the weather channel, that thing is HUGE.

Pretty awesome rotation there! Wouldn't have suspected Northern Illinois for the big one today.

This is one of the many things that bother me about TWC and really, the media at large. In big writing on the screen it said, "TORNADO COMTINUES AFTER IT DESTROYS ILLINOIS TOWN", while I'm sure it did damage as big as it was they have no idea at this point if a town was destroyed or not

They're all really tight. Apparently we have zero cap tonight. Just blowing up

OMG! TWC right now.

That tornado near Marshall, TX is going to get choked out by the storms south of it. Hopefully sooner rather than later, because it has a tight rotation right now.

Arklatex feeding on tons of moisture. Illinois has the proximity of the low for lift and shear.
