Are there still that many racists in South Carolina? How are y'all not over it by now? The South seceded to protect the institution of slavery, and the use of the Confederate Flag surged again when the KKK were being racist pricks, and the South was fighting against the Civil Rights movement. Why do y'all hold that symbol in such high regard?

I get offended when Americans in South Texas support Mexico over America with their stupid Mexican Flag. I get offended when the KKK fly the Confederate Flag. I get offended when European right wingers fly Nazi Flags.

These are statements, some personal, political and whatever else, and since I believe in freedom of speech, support their right to spew all the bullshite they want to, but there are places where it doesn't belong. Flying the Confederate Flag, the predominant symbol for racial prejudice in this country for the last 100 years, can be horribly offensive. I know some people don't get that, but whatevz.
