Gay marriage has failed literally every single time in every American State it got on the ballot. Yes, even CA voted it down.

The city of San Francisco isn't that large. Go elsewhere in the Bay Area to get them. BART goes well outside of San Francisco proper.

Or don't pass an illegal statute in order to force citizens not to purchase and businesses to close.

Probably has more to do with capitalism than Gun Laws. Lack of clientele base I'd imagine. Also a lack of gun stores is not evidence of any infringing of rights.

. I guarantee you that the vast majority of San Franciscans, including an ex of mine who lives there, has zero problem with it.

So, if the majority of South Carolina voted to secede or Mississippi to reinstitute slavery, Catfan is okay with it? I mean, since we're just frippering away our constitutional rights, and all...

Judge Edmond E. Chang of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois ruled that Chicago’s total ban on firearms dealers was unconstitutional. In his opinion, Chang noted that the Second Amendment right “must also include the right to acquire a firearm.”

I would expect that the illegal action SF took would fall under this ruling if it gets pushed. They are using illegal laws to attempt to drive businesses out and violating Federal law with the requirements they currently have.

The state of California has more rednecks than most of the south. You, apparently, have spent no time in Cali.

San Fran didn't ban the selling of guns did they? Regardless what I responded to and tropic's response don't make any sense. A lack of Gun shops isn't evidence by itself of infringing rights. Could easily be that they were not doing any business because it's a gun shop in San Fran and people there are liberal pussies. If they want to make money, they should have opened a butt plug store.

Same effect, when they require citizens to abide to an unlawful registry of their firearms. Submit to illegal records of their ownership or don't buy. An infringement of their 2nd Amendment rights. I wouldn't expect you to understand or comprehend that though.

Could also be that being the only one, they had plenty of business, but that business dried up because citizens didn't want to give the State something they illegally tried to get.

We both know that isn't happening. You should have used Mississippi instead of South Carolina, silly.

Could be. Certainly makes sense. I wouldn't buy guns from them with those rules in place.
