Click on the link in your post. It's a ten day total itinerary with only 6 nights at the hotel in the price. I even took a screen shot of it.
I'm not trying to pick a nit but to me 6 nights isn't a 10 day holiday

Daaang, man, congrats!
My anniversary is next week. Just bought a house a couple of months ago and started a new job myself.
Gotta love being in transition. Makes life exciting though.

Thanks
The job change wasn't my choice but I'm extremely lucky and against all odds found a better career

Not bad, I've been and I've tried talking the GF into going because San Antonio is not expensive. However, she doesn't want to go because there isn't much to do according to her.

Nah I'm still with the waterworks company, just in a different division here in town

Meh, there's plenty to do here, but if she doesn't think she'll have a good time, she probably won't.
You could say that about just about anywhere though, I guess
Gotta head to bed. Y'all have a good one

Yeah just doing the River Walk/Alamo is pretty neat, she won't attend a basketball game. She wants to be able to see more really I guess. Think our next trip is Boston

Riverwalk is just one thing. San Antonio has a kick arse zoo and then day trip to Fredericksburg for wine tastings, German food and the Nimitz Pacific Theater ww11 museum. Then day trip to new braunfels and float the river (where I am now). There is a shite ton of great things to do in the greater San Antonio area.

As good as? Yes, but not as large as. The national ww2 museum in NO is one of my favorite places. It covers BOTH theaters of operations. The Nimitz museum is very similar in design and style and very well done but is just the pacific theater and not as large. Budget 2 hours and you'll be ok, I could spend 4-6 in there, but I could spend 3 days in the national ww2 museum in NO

Denmark. Copenhagen was an unusual experience in 1997. They loved Americans though and schools there require English from Kindergarten through high school due to various wars over the years in that territory. They still require it to this day. I can't speak for how things have changed since then, but Denmark was definitely an eye opener for me at a young age. They are very heavily influenced by Germany however. But both Germany and Denmark speak very good English if that helps. The actual Country and people were amazing. That being said...I would never go back.
Too many better, exciting trips in Europe.
But that was my first trip, like you asked. It kind of sucked.
Definitely try London first. Then go to Italy or Greece.
Really depends on the timing too. Europe is pretty diverse as far as winter, fall and summer go. They go from winter to summer very quickly...then back to winter before you know it. It makes a difference believe me. And some territories just stay the same no matter what (either rainy and wet or warm and humid all year long).
Europe is very complex in this regard, and they know it. It is annoying, lol.

May just stick to something else, as I said I have Portugal and Spain set for next summer so I will be looking for a smaller (3-5 days) trip with her.

I've gone to Honduras on business and I've taken the "panama city beach" of cruise tours (Bahamas on a Carnaval).
