What would they be?

In all seriousness - pretty much the same things my Dad told me when I was 18. Or, if I could be more specific and focus on specifics knowing what was coming in the future I would say ...

1 - Don't worry about playing so much ball from 5-25 ... your bones will thank you later.

2 - Rather than getting married so young, save your married money, invest it in technology (Apple and MS), and do not get married until you are in your early to mid 30s, at the earliest.

3 - You're going to start fricking this beautiful older gal in Charleston in the 80s and she is going to cost you your first marriage and a shite ton of money ... go ahead, frick her, frick her crazy. But don't fall in love with her. Get out after the first year. That was your fault, not hers.

So you fricked a girl while you were married? Pretty sure you should have known that would have costed you your marriage at age 18 without anyone telling you.

I married my first wife at 21 ... we were the same age.

I had the affair in Charleston in '86, I was 34 at the time, she was 38 but just hitting her sexual peak and a total head-turner, just gorgeous. A mix of Sela Ward, Sherilyn Fenn with a touch of Bridget Moynahan. Green eyed, dark hair ... just like my ex wife, just like my current wife. Nipples you could hang your hat on, like pencil erasers ... perfectly upturned pouty tits. Perfect feet, perfect toes, perfect teeth .... she had modeled for years all over the world. Hair like silk. Perfect arse. A spinner at 5'5" 110. Pussy hair was like rabbit fuzz ... and she was a squirter. frick! Awesome woman. Just an absolute awesome woman. Total sexual dynamo. Had been married twice before. When I refused to become #3 she married an older guy down in Dallas ... filthy rich. Texas big money. Made his fortune with TI.

My wife and I were done anyways ... I could have handled it better for the girls though. My oldest was 17 at the time, she did not handle it well.

Yeah, if I could go back in time I would definitely handle all of that better ... or, advise my younger self to do so when the time came. I doubt it would do any good though. I was in full rutt from 15-50 but especially those 18-40 years.

One of those that, if you lagged back and watched when she walked into a room ... she would turn heads. She was that stunning ... and both of my wives have been/are beautiful women ... but this one, she was exceptional. She was, in retrospect, the total package.

She would have been the death of me though.

Her daughter is now 35 and just quit modeling in order to get married and make babies. I used to see her in magazines all the time. They both got lucky with the genes.

Sure was a costly piece of arse for me at the time though. ::::: sighhhhhhh ::::: In more ways than one.

Keep explaining compounding interest until I finally get it.

Tell him to never rent an apartment. But a small house in a decent area and fix it up. Save your money and when you can afford to do so buy another house and live in it while you fix it up. Rent the first house for at least what the mortgage is for that house. Put any extra money against the mortgage. Do not spend any of the real estate money. Ever. Keep buying, moving, fixing up, and renting. He had a job that provided money for his living expenses.

I did not do this but have a friend who did. We used to laugh at him because he lived in a different house ever year.

He is laughing now. Retired at 48 and has 21 houses, about 15 paid in full. Others will be paid off in a few years.

What do you think the monthly rent is on 21 houses in a college town? Most are 2-3 bedroom that are in decent locations. If you get just $300 per bedroom that is about $15,000 PER MONTH. (21 houses x 2.5 bedrooms @ $300). And houses rent for more than that per bedroom in Tuscaloosa. I am estimating low.

He had 4 in Cedar Crest that he collected full insurance on after the tornado. Just used the money to buy more...
