Does Guess Who? count? It's not really what I'd call a "black" movie. Hilarious, though.
I think Tyler Perry and Martin Lawrence have disgraced the genre. Martin had a few good ones before he put on the fat suit. Blue Streak was good.

I've honestly only ever heard of it being called "dark".
I'm not PC. I got called crass last week hanging out with military buddies because dude showed me a picture of his girl's baby and it was obviously mixed so I asked, "Is your girl black?"
I mean...shite. How else do you ask that?

You could try asking it another way: "Cute kid, is your girl's other boyfriend black?"
