University of South Panola until 7th grade then we moved to the Delta and I went to a few private schools.

Private Episcopal until college.

public. Only private was a christian school in fort smith and no way in hell would I have attended there.

i went to private baptist school K-12. i had the same experience with memorization over actual learning. i dont know if the education is better, but the discipline at least makes kids read and memorize, which helps i guess.
all the rules really gave me an anti-authoritian streak that kindof crippled my 20s.
